Careon J. Gohn, PE
is President of JDB Engineering, Inc.
He has been with the firm
since 1985 and has served as President since 1997. Careon is a licensed
mechanical engineer in Pennsylvania,
Maryland,
New Jersey,
North Carolina,
Florida
and Tennessee,
and holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology.
Careon
is a member of the York Foundation Energy Committee, Rotary Club of York –
East, National Society of Professional Engineers, and American Society of
Hearing, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers.
He is also former
secretary of the board of directors for the Rotary Club of
York
– East, past secretary of the Lincoln Chapter of the Pennsylvania Society
of Professional Engineers, and past chairman of the Education Committee of
the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of ASHRAE.
He has given presentations about thermal
storage at the Annual ASHRAE Conference and to the Pennsylvania Electric
Association.
As president, Careon oversees the financial
and operational aspects of the business.
He also serves as project
manager on key accounts, and has overseen projects for
Lancaster County,
U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers, Veterans Administration,
Dallastown
Area
School District,
Riddle
Hospital,
Met-Ed, and many others.
